Public bug reported: Binary package hint: sendmail
I realise that the issue has been described in other bugs (see: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sendmail/+bug/43752/comments/6 ) but the other bugs are tracking other issues. Because the init files are not removed when the package is removed, the system hangs for 5 or so seconds every boot as it tries to start the sendmail MTA. I have tried this on two different Gutsy machines.
