This was fixed on the store side, the store was asking to refresh the
wrong macaroon. Had to be a core system with expired macaroon .

Changes list below isnt very interesting, the output of a snap change is
attached in comment #1. It seems to be auth related but not clear why.
Installs behave the same as refresh.

I tried logging out and back in via SSO. The auth.json file format is
different, but the results is the same as the refresh hangs,

Indeed. We need a way to distinguish between lack of purchase and other
reasons for lack of access rights. Along similar lines, would be great
to be able to distinguish between real not found (bogus endpoint) and
semantic content not found (unknown snap).

i see the same on my dragonboard and iirc when debugging this on
telegram someone said it is related to macaroons and authentication
issues
