Hello,
there's an option to log in automatically. To check if this is enabled,
could you open "User accounts" in the Dash and see Automatic login is
enabled for your user? (I reverse translated the names, so they might
differ slightly) Most likely it is enabled from when the account was

- User can login even if the password is set on it
+ User can go through without password even if the password is set on it
