Public bug reported:

Running Ubuntu as a guest in virt-manager is not comfortable, because
the spice-vdagent is not installed by default on Ubuntu. Among the side
effects: the mouse remains captured within the guest until you hit
Control-Alt; there is no copy-paste support; resizing the window does
not change the guest resolution; etc.

One solution would be to enable spice-vdagent by default. If that is not
acceptable, one hint that spice-vdagent may be useful is when the
installer runs on QXL video. It is likely to indicate that the
installation is in a virtual machine, and that installing spice-vdagent
would be useful.

** Affects: spice-vdagent (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
