that vboxvideo has been dropped upstream, I also tried an rm on my zesty
vm of that file but it didn't change the boot issue.
I don't understand your modeset sentence, because actually I don't understand
what vboxvideo does (kernel module)
what the driver is supposed to do, and what/how that
vboxvideo_drv was removed on purpose it seems, but seems that the
modeset driver can't enable glamor because of the separate EGL/GL libs?
btw, you probably can drop Provides: xorg-driver-video

well, sounds like a vbox issue to me:

exist, 0)
which then results in:
[18.790] (EE) modeset(0): eglInitialize() failed
[18.790] (EE) modeset(0): glamor initialization failed
which probably causes the DM to fail, not
attached xorg log after installing xdiagnose
