Public bug reported: The mdadm in xenial doesn't respect an AUTO line that is intended to disable anything because it doesn't set the auto_seen flag in autoline() in config.c. At the end of reading the mdadm.conf file it adds a dummy AUTO line just in case there wasn't one. Without the auto_seen flag set, this overrides any disabling of auto assembly.
NB this is fixed in the 3.4 releases after xenial. ** Affects: mdadm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: xenial -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1684093 Title: 16.04 LTS mdadm ignores AUTO -all in mdadm.conf To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mdadm/+bug/1684093/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
