On a laptop running xubuntu I upgraded from 16.10 to 17.04 a few days ago with no problem, and the /boot/efi wasn't mounted there either, so it's still a bit of a puzzle. However, all is now well for my systems, so I'm happy to leave it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a

Well I can, but the boot repair has added the EFI mount in, so I'm not sure how helpful this will be. I don't know why the original efi line was commented out. I may have done it some moons ago for some reason. ** Attachment added: "fstab"
