But I got used to it :-)
Never tracked down why upstream changed it.

Hi Brian,
the placement is different.
In the initial view you have a list of your machines - there you "open" a VM.
DOesn't matter if it is running or off - in the new window there is a small "i"
icon on the top second from left. That is your VM details.
There you can add/remove devices as you are
