Fyi, for those looking for such a feature, there is an extension which provides JPG export. Oh, well actually I found 2. I'm not sure if they both work with the current version of Inkscape. If anyone finds out, maybe you could add a comment here? Anyway for what it's worth, here they are: http

Is this a WONTFIX bug? Still seems like quite a useful feature. For me it's only a couple of steps to create a JPEG but I see this as a big barrier for less experienced users. I'm not a programmer but I almost think that I should have a go at this one - seems like it could be an easy (easier!) fix
