The authentication is handled by PolicyKit (PolkitQt1). It has it's own
configuration on how to authenticate and authorize
I can't replicate this on my system and can only assume that the
authentication window is not being displayed or becoming focused to the
front of the active windows.
I have sub'ed the maintainer of the program to this report, maybe he
will know what could be causing it to do that.
