I believe *maybe* this isn't an issue any more,
Fresh install, disabled auto lockscreen
Let screen blank, woke up
While it didn't go directly to Desktop it didn't go to a security lockscreen.
Went to that lockscreen image?, then pulling up showed the desktop.
As far as suspend, it always goes
Please set the desired settings and post the output of the following two
commands:
$ gsettings get org.gnome.desktop.screensaver lock-enabled
$ gsettings get org.gnome.desktop.screensaver lock-delay
** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Incomplete
