Yes, we had the discussion but it wasn't resolved. There is a difference
in opinion among Ubuntu Developers on whether it should be required. I'm
ok with this specific question being forwarded to the Tech Board.

- the package doesn't have a test suite. Is there any test that can either be
run as a simple test, either during the build or the autopkg test?
- The build log is non verbose, not showing compiler options. This is now at
least recommended by the Debian policy. Please could you add that?
