Ubuntu 17.10 vanilla Gnom
The Ubuntu GNOME team announced when Ubuntu GNOME 17.04 was released
that users would be upgraded to regular Ubuntu when upgrading to 17.10
or 18.04 LTS. We feel this is the best option for the majority of our
users.
You can install gnome-session and click GNOME from the gear button on
the log in
