Title:
Systemd journal from reboot this morning.
There are some lines mentioning the following that i remember seeing from when
i had tried Debian Testing also with the 4.13 kernel (with a similar problem)
that showed up in the terminal:
"echo 0 > /proc/sys/kernel/hung_task_timeout_secs" disables this
critical chain log after having made some adjustments to my kernel
command line to support my GCN1.0 AMDGPU video card

systemd-analyze blame log after having made some adjustments to my

I have this same bug on my Carrizo AMD A10-8700P. When I cycle through
the terminals on shutdown there is no further information to describe
what is going on. I am running 17.10 based on the October 15, 2017
daily iso. I have also set my journal as persistent and can't see
anything in there
4.14-rc4 also works well

Very slow (3-4 minutes) to shutdown (17.10 without encryption)

Can you cycle through the virtual consoles (using ctrl-alt-f1, ctrl-
alt-f7, etc.) when the shutdown process in hung and see if you can
gather more information about what systemd unit is timing out? Then it
would be best to open a new bug against the corresponding package.
** Changed in:
No, I'm not using eCyptfs, by mistake I had selected that option because this
was my first bug report.
Thank you for your quick reply.

Title:
Hello and thanks for the bug report!
You opened this bug against the ecryptfs-utils package, which are a set
of utilities that support the encrypted filesystem eCryptfs, but the
title of the bug report states "17.10 without encryption". Are you using
eCryptfs or not? Thanks!
