Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Deluge has had significant code changes with 1.1.2.dfsg-1, available in Ubuntu Jaunty. Could you please test with this version to see if the problem still exists? You can find out more about the development release

I'v been having 2 related problems on ubuntu hardy x64. Deluge version 0.5.9.3-1 1. First use. No problem. 2. Reboot try to use again. Deluge crashes after a few seconds with the above message. 3. Workaround found, quickly in those few seconds try to pause all your downloads. Then it doesn't

It means that there's another program using Deluge's torrent (presumably another torrent client or a zombie process of Deluge). You must close the other program (or Zombie) and then you should be able to open Deluge. -- Deluge not starting 'asio::system_error'
