This also gets detected by the cockpit integration tests in https://github.com/cockpit-project/cockpit/pull/7939, so I spent an hour to create a minimal reproducer (attached), only to find that this is already fixed in -proposed. I confirm that with the -proposed package this works again. Thanks!
