Pedro - yes, I find the dialog handy too, but it takes some adjusting to coming from a mac or windows environment. The idea being, if this checkbox is checked, in the future, gnome-screenshot will always save to that directory, and just increment the name of the file 2007-11-12-0001.jpg 2007-11-12-
