It looks like you'd installed some vim packages from a PPA and their
version numbers were likely greater than the version numbers for the
release to which you were upgrading. From Aptclonesystemstate:

Found some version mismatches related to the vim-gtk package in
/var/log/dist-upgrade/apt.log
After removing all the packages related to vim, the upgrade was able to proceed.
I will install vim again after the upgrade process is completed.
I don't know whether this is a bug or not, but my workarou
