I recently lost the default resolution of my laptop. Autodetect didn't
give the right resolution (Just PnP monitor with 1024x768) so I selected
Generic - LCD monitor 1440x900 (the native resolution of my screen). The
only resolution options I got were 640x480, 800x600 and 1024x768. So
even though the name sais 1440x900 I can't get that resolution at all. I
had to do a dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg (or something) to get
it back.
