well my modem/router is dying a slow death i i believe it was the casue of all
my problems.
currently i have to pppoe old school to connect.. (its complicated) so i
officialy blame the router to being idiotic old and feeble.
I was able to disconnect and reconnect wired and wireless at a friends h

it works again, it seem that switching back and forth from roaming to static
resolves the problem however the underlying pattern is unclear..
(just like this bug report)
i've just discovered nm-tool and when i can apply some solid logic to this bug
i will repost an fresh annd clean report..

Um actually that workarond is not working... im stuck on wireless with wired
not connecting.. also what happened tp the spinning dots?
grumble grumble.
nm needs an option to change from wireless to wired network...

I found a workaround!
In manual configuration Ethernet cannot be set to roaming... when set to
DHCP i can switch back between wired and wireless.
