It seems Discussion on (and in some mails around) the bug concluded and
the agreement is to demote from main in 18.04.
Prepping an MP for that (which will include the demotion as well as the
removal from server-ship seed).

Sorry Elmo, I came from the xinetd dependencies side and you are
absolutely right tftp != ftp, but as Bryan already pointed out, then
tftpd-hpa.
But one more potential user came to my mind - MAAS back then used I think a
python based tftp.
Adding them to be sure - not that they (planned to) chang
- meant custom services.

Very true, but in the tftp case tftpd-hpa does exist and is in main. No
packages in main depend on xinetd, my best guess is maybe it was used for
customer services back in the day?

Uh - TFTP != FTP and AFAIK vsftpd doesn't support TFTP?

Hi Bryan,
I only knew about tftpd of the dependencies and for that the main counterpart
is vsftpd.
So I can only agree to the suggestion to demote it.

The changelog says this was added for you in Hoglet, which I'm guessing is very
much no longer needed for that purpose. Any other reason from you not to
demote from main? Thanks!
