Public bug reported: Currently cntlm calls syslog with LOG_DEBUG for each connect, get, post, etc it makes to the proxy server. This is annoying because it keeps systemd's journal full of uninteresting messages making finding relevant ones more difficult. Besides that it should be considered a privacy issue as well because it keeps records of the times, HTTP operations and URLs.
There is no easy way too disable it and it should be at least configurable and not default. ** Affects: cntlm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1744699 Title: cntlm should stop logging every connection attempt To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cntlm/+bug/1744699/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
