tmux process look like this:

Guess you wanted to verify I wasn't hitting a "third party" binary or
something like that.
I've been combing through freepascal.org bug tracker an
I've just found the root cause for this is tmux. If fp ide is run on an
xfce terminal it doesn't crash, but under tmux on the same xfce terminal
it does.
I'll try to identify whether this is a "package problem" or an upstream
one.
