I have the same issue after installing amdpgu proprietary driver. Is
there any resolution?

Issue exists on 18.10 Cosmic Cuttlefish.

works fine.

Are you still experiencing this bug?
This may have been a temporary incompatibility between mutter 3.27.91
and gnome-settings-daemon 3.26 that was fixed by upgrading all
components to 3.28.
