I was running from a live USB which has since been repurposed, so I
can't check. However I probably just didn't see that configuration
option. If there is a way of configuring the terminal to open at the
same pre-set size every time, I suggest you close this bug as invalid.

I can find a checkbox in file->prefrences->behavior
Can you attach your ~/.config/qterminal.org/qterminal.ini file to this bug
report?
Are you saying this does not exist in your GUI or that it is broken?
I am seeing a checkbox but I want to be sure of what you are trying to
report.
