Sorry for being unclear. I meant ccsm won't be included by default? Or
any configuration tool besides just selecting extra in the appearances
tab?

I believe the plan is for simple-ccsm to be installed by default, it is
the package that makes the Custom option come up along with Normal
and friends. Don't know if that is going to happen though.

If you mean fusion-icon it is available in universe. If you mean ccsm
that's the compizconfig-settings-manager package in universe.

Still not sure which one you're talking about. fusion-icon is not needed
as we have our own method of starting compiz. ccsm is a power user tool.

I am using compiz, yes. I have not tried without the visual
effects..I'll try that and post an update. I'm using the nvidia 8800gts.

Okay I tested it without compiz and it works fine. When I turn compiz
back on, I am left with the same problem and it resets to two.
