This seems to have regressed again to the same behaviour. It may be
partially due to the running of the non-restricted graphic driver.
Acrobat is very slow and CPU hungry on standard PDF's too. But I cannot
try the restricted driver due to Bug 145112, which (hopefully) needs
Hardy to fix it :-(

I presume you mean its a Linux flash bug since its ok in windows.
However, seems to work ok in Konqueror.

No, standard Gutsy on a Dell E521, 4GB ram. Its a little better now for
some reason, I think they have changed their homepage content. Firefox
is still unusably slow on that site, but it least it does not make the
whole OS nearly grind to a halt.
