Former wondershaper user here, "probably" hit by #1739086 (I say
probably because I get the same errors from the script but I did not
bother to actually test if it did anything good or bad to my connection
performance).
I tested the version you linked on Ubuntu 16.04 with linux-image-
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
