I am also experiencing this issue. Ubuntu locks up and then on a reboot
I get the message:

Definately a bug in there somewhere: on my system I can login, but when
the screensaver kicks in the X session collapses, the screen is blank
but when a key is touched it is full of these APCI messages. Hitting
return causes the X session to restart back to the initial login screen.

This is absolutely a bug. System went from working to non-bootable
without any user interference.
