Hey, sorry for the long delay in fixing this bug. This issue should be
fixed in the latest beta build, v64, without the dbus-launch hack
(tested with Gnome Flashback on Ubuntu 18.04).

I use a different workaround, which seems to fix additional indicators besides
dropbox.
In file /usr/share/xsessions/gnome-flashback-metacity.desktop, I add
"Ubuntu;Unity" to the variable "DesktopNames".
