Public bug reported: Hi,
I just installed a Ryzen 7 machine with Lubuntu 18.04, no modifications so far, just as it was installed with lubuntu alternative. After booting, the system came up normally. I then tried to reboot into recovery mode to check a problem (disk LED continuously blinking) and noticed that recovery mode does not work: - reboot, choose recovery mode at the grub prompt - get into the recovery options menu and choose to enable networking and mount the root disk writeable some steps are performed, but after "[ OK ] Reached target Sound Card" the system hangs. There's one error message (in german): /lib/recovery-mode/recovery-menu: line 75: /etc/default/rcS: file or directory not found regards ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1767685 Title: recovery mode: recovery-menu linke 75: file or directory not found To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1767685/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
