How that is workaround? GNOME Flashback is not GNOME Classic.
GNOME Classic is gnome-shell + extensions. If you want that then you can
try, I don't know if that will work...

I found a possible workaround, I would like to check if it's correct and
safe to try:
Just add a gnome-classic.desktop to /usr/share/wayland-sessions/. It can
be copied from /usr/share/xsessions.

The main reason is that Wayland is tearing-free by design. XOrg needs a
window manager with compositing to avoid tearing.
