I have tested the version 4.2-build2010-5ubuntu1~16.04.2 and the DKMS
package successfully builds and loads on kernels 4.15, which was the
issue reported in this bug.
I also have run the ADT tests for the following kernels to ensure
there's no regressions:
- linux-generic 4.4
- linux-hwe 4.15

Indeed, generally we block on missing essential DEP3 headers but for
fixes like these we tend to just get those in as-is.

Hello Marcelo, or anyone else affected,
Accepted oss4 into xenial-proposed. The package will build now and be
available at
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/oss4/4.2-build2010-5ubuntu1~16.04.2
in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
Please help us by testing this new package.
This debdiff looks good. There's no origin in the patch but it is
inherited from newer releases and the patch didn't have an origin listed
there. The versioning string is goofy due to the previous upload but
that's not your fault. I've slightly adjusted the version. :)
