Description:    Ubuntu Cosmic Cuttlefish (development branch)
Release:        18.10

was executing :  install ubuntu 18.10 
from its normal ISO file
once booted into 18.10 I just launched the desktop launcher icon for

    sudo --preserve-env=DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS,XDG_RUNTIME_DIR sh -c
'ubiquity gtk_ui'

    Install this system permanently to your hard disk

after answering a few question it crashed after showing confirmation
popup saying its about to make permanent disc format changes
