Public bug reported: Occasionally, kscreenlocker_greet stops responding to any user input. The mouse cursor changes to a text input cursor when hovering over the password field (which you would expect for an X program), but typing, hitting Escape, etc. have no effect. The only way to unlock the screen is to kill the kscreenlocker_greet process from a VT, after which it restarts and works normally.
This would greatly befuddle a casual user.
