This is somewhat off topic, but the fix in the description remains
useful and is required to enable backlight brightness adjustment for the
HP Stream 7 when running Debian 11 (Linux 5.10).
Example steps (to be run in an i386 environment, such as a debootstrap
chroot jail):
apt install fakeroot
This bug was erroneously marked for verification in bionic; verification
is not required and verification-needed-bionic is being removed.

Hello guys,
I'm kind of new regarding kernel patching. I've Asus T102HA and saw some
other blogs about how to control the backlight brightness. I tried to
message to people and asked for help but I got no response. Would you
guys help me how to fix the backlight brightness step by step?
