Public bug reported: I am running hardy heron with all updates as of today. When I attempt to add a "shared folder" the information entered is not saved.
System->Administration->Shared Folders->Unlock->Add After adding desired folders, click 'quit' I cannot access any folders that I add via shares-admin. When I reopen shares-admin, none of he previously entered shares are stored. If I open smb.conf, none of the information added via shares-admin is present. Puzzling enough, I do not know the real function of 'unlock'. When I press 'unlock' I am not prompted for any information (username, password, etc). Any Ideas. Need any other info? ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- shares-admin not storing shared folder information https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/178397 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
