Christian Roessner, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu
better. Hardy desktop reached EOL on May 12, 2011.
Please see this document for currently supported Ubuntu releases:

We were wondering if this is still an issue on a supported release? If
This is not a bug in the linux-meta package, moving to the linux

[hardy] Resume from suspend-to-ram fails

Hello,
it seems I#m having exactly the same problem on my MaxData Pro8000x.
Additionaly information: the lock (left blue led above keypad) and the lock
with a symbol in it (3rd led from left side above keypad) start flashing when I
try to resume.
Hope there will be some kind of fix
Best
I have recognized that the release candidate still does not resume after
suspend. What can someone like me do to have a response from a developer
on how to fix this. I am quiet sure it is a kernel bug and I have chosen
to communicate through launchpad instead of going upstream and talking
directly
It is ehci-hcd which causes problems. By rmmod-ing this module,
everything works fine.

I forgot to mention that I also tried s-t-r in single user mode.

One more information: The only suspend stuff that is installed is pm-
utils and uswsusp. Anything else is purged cleanly. I have tried with
and without uswsusp. No differences. s-t-d is working in both cases,
while s-t-r is neither working.
