Public bug reported: Hi,
I have a external drive which isn't writeable when I plug in in, thought the icon appears on the desktop. Compared to other drives which work this one says "Removable: no" in the properties-dialog. It gets mounted /dev/sdc1 on /media/disk type ext3 (rw,nosuid, nodev) whereas the other ones get mounted /dev/sdd1 on /media/truhe type vfat (rw,nosuid,nodev,shortname=mixed,uid=1000,utf8,umask=077,usefree) I use Ubuntu 7.10. fabian ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- external drive not writeable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/178904 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
