unfortunately, the license does not allow free redistribution AFAIUI.
for medibuntu, they are of course free to ignore any laws not valid in
france, but ubuntu targets more countries than that.

certainly not a duplicate of #125835. However, #334947 is a duplicate of
this one. BTW, I've already done a preliminary analysis of the package
in the latter bug. For your convenience, I'm copying it here:
First analysis of the package:
- no full sources. the linux binary tarball ships a bunch
Just checked the website again, they still seem to violate quite a lot
of foreign copyright by distributing binaries without full sources. And
even if they did I have doubts that the libraries that they can can be
legally combined in that way.
