Unfortunately, the problem still persists. I tried to reinstall the
linux-image-extra-4.4.0-119-generic 4.4.0-119.143
but it fails to reinstall like any other update I have tried to do.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Ok, you have told me the problem, but how do you fix it? Where do you find
the linux-image file that needs to be redownloaded.
