Hi,
I just had another freeze, I could move mouse and keyboard was active. I
tried combination Alt+Ctrl+F1 and monitor started showing power saving
mode and keyboard and mouse are not functional anymore. Cannot access
the system remotely as well.
Please let me know if you need more info or log
If the mouse cursor still moves then the shell isn't completely frozen.
gnome-shell actually uses a lot of CPU and processing to move the cursor
so if it does then gnome-shell itself is fairly awake.
Do you find you can still click on parts of the shell but just not app
windows?
