Public bug reported:

At my last system install on my old laptop (Fujutsu lifebook A series, I5-2450M
processor), I wanted to try out the Qt version of Lubuntu, as I use Qt for
development. But altough I installed the system 3 times, with different
variations of other packages, each time I installed Lubuntu-qt-desktop, at the
first reboot of the system after finishing the installation (using bionic
beaver netinstall over wifi), the DNS was not working, reporting something like
"temporary failure in name resolution" for any name.
The connection to the router and beyond was working, as ping 8.8.8.8 was
functioning.
By connecting the ethernet cable to the laptop (from the same router which is
the Wifi hotspot), DNS was working properly.
Removing the packages lubuntu-qt-desktop and lxqt, together with the other
packages apt reported to depend on these packages did not help, DNS did not
resumed normal operation.
The install is not available any more, I installed the lxde version of Lubuntu
which worked without any issue.
