I tested gnome-compiz-manger in Hardy, and there were no failures.
there were not any dependency issues, and the package(s) install
cleanly. The configuration manager GUI would not open, however, without
enabling compiz first.
It does seem irrelevant to update this package, but for curiosity
We need to review first if gnome-compiz-manager still works with the
current compiz setup we have. It is written for the gconf plugin config
system. And while this is mostly compatible with ccp/libcompizconfig I'm
not sure if there are not subtle bugs hidding.
Some feedback and testing first
Can you please test this in Hardy and report?
