Onscreen Keyboard in Wayland cannot be summoned by swiping up on
Confirmed same issue exists in Cosmic. Reported to upstream
(https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/issues/831)
We don’t intend to deviate from Canonical’s defaults for OEM projects
unless necessary, but want to make sure that all issues are resolved
when the defaults "are" Wayland.

Thank you for your bug report. Could you test if that's still an issue
in cosmic and if it is report it upstream as well on
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/issues
Wayland is not our default session/recommended, do you plan to base
work/customer projects on it?
