Title:
acpi PNP0C14:02: duplicate WMI GUID
Same story here on a Lenovo S340 Ideapad with Xubuntu 19.10. More details can
be found here https://superuser.com/q/1524979/865660
[1.045638] acpi PNP0C14:02: duplicate WMI GUID
05901221-D566-11D1-B2F0-00A0C9062910 (first instance was on PNP0C14:01)
[1.045676] acpi PNP0C14:03: duplicate
_SB.WTBT._HID = "PNP0C14"
_SB.AMW0._HID = "PNP0C14"
_SB.AMW4._HID = "PNP0C14"
_SB.AMW2._HID = "PNP0C14"
So this system does have duplicated WMI devices, and they have different
functions. However, like what I said, WMI is not really a part of ACPI
specification, but a Microsoft specific standard.
Here is an ACPI dump on a Dell Latitude 5590 with kernel 5.5.3.

Such duplicated entries are dumped without further processing. Unless we find
further info, especially from ACPI standard, this is probably a WONTFIX.

These lines are displayed and soon after the computer freezes.
Can this be the reason it fails to start?
