The proxy it asks you for is just used for apt, though. Does apt-proxy
have a different syntax or something? Why can't you just enter the apt-
proxy address when it asks you for a proxy?
(Note: I have never used apt-proxy. Thus, you'll need to explain to me
how apt-proxy is different from normal

I don't quite understand this request. You can enter the address of an
apt-proxy instance when it asks you for a proxy, which you say it's
already asking you. Could you explain what benefit another question
would add?

I would like to have the choice to specify a local apt-proxy machine
instead of specify the web proxy URL. This will allow my server to get
all updates cached by the apt-proxy and fill correctly the sources.list.
