This bug will become invalid with the release of Amarok 2, and since Amarok 1
is on low-development mode it's unlikely the error coping will improve in
Amarok 1 - also IMO OSS should be removed completely from xine on Ubuntu.

Aha, I had switched backend to oss. Now I have switched back to alsa and
it works like a charm again.
Guess this bug is about that Amarok should be able to cope with Xine
errors in a more elegant way.
However low prio for alsa-users...
