I installed gnome-shell 3.30.2-0ubuntu1.18.10.1 on Ubuntu 18.10 and

Accepted gnome-shell into cosmic-proposed. The package will build now
and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-
shell/3.30.2-0ubuntu1.18.10.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed
repository.
Please help us by testing this new
> * Improve performance of app icon animations [Daniel; !253, !261]
That is bug 1750197 which should probably be updated.
