I'm having a similar problem. I'm following this guide:
http://www.ifolder.com/index.php/HowTo:iFolder_Enterprise_Server_on_Ubuntu_6.10
and when executing:
./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr --with-simiasdatadir=/var/lib/simias
--sysconfdir=/etc --with-simiaslogdir=/var/log/simias --enable-debug
I get:
